Glenn Snyder - Partner

Glenn Snyder is a patent attorney with experience in many areas of patent law, including patent preparation and prosecution, opinion work and client counseling. Mr. Snyder's practice covers a variety of electrical and electromechanical technology areas, such as computer-networking, telecommunications, optics, computer hardware and software, semiconductor processing and Internet-related technologies. In addition to patent preparation and prosecution experience, Mr. Snyder also has experience in meeting with large groups of inventors to identify patentable subject matter.

Mr. Snyder formerly worked as an associate at the law firms of Lowe, Price, LeBlanc & Becker and McDermott, Will & Emery. While there, Mr. Snyder worked for both domestic and foreign clients on a wide variety of patent matters.

Mr. Snyder is a former Patent Examiner with over four years of experience at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. At the Patent Office, Mr. Snyder examined patent applications in the areas of computer hardware, software and telecommunications.

Prior to working at the Patent Office, Mr. Snyder acquired extensive engineering experience covering a broad range of areas. He worked as an electrical engineer at Vitro Corporation involved in the design of hardware/software interfaces for radar and missile systems. He also worked for Potomac Electric Power Company designing and coordinating installation of computer-controlled hardware to monitor and control power generation and distribution equipment. In addition, Mr. Snyder worked as a telecommunications and electrical design engineer for Sverdrup Corporation involved in the integration of electrical, telecommunications and computer systems in buildings.
